Fresh Wreath Making Workshop Saturday, Nov. 23rd 2:30-5:00
Join the Hudson Valley Wreath Company and Kohlmaier Farms on Saturday, Nov. 23rd, starting at 2:30pm for a fresh wreath making workshop! We will welcome the holidays with fresh pine and seasonal cheer! During the workshop you will learn how to make your own full-circle fresh wreath using a variety of freshly clipped pine stems. We will be accenting these real stems with a few artificial pieces, such as magnolia leaves, berries, ribbon, and bells. We will have a 'bar' of additional decor items for use, including, but not limited to: ornaments, bows, cinnamon, dried oranges, additional pine stems, holly, etc.
We will also be teaching you how to properly care for your fresh wreath to extend its life and beauty. Pine stems used for the workshop may not be exactly as pictured in the sample photos, we make choices to clip the freshest varieties of stems just days before the event. The wreath will be built on a 14" grapevine wreath frame.
The event is from approximately 2:30-5:00pm at Kohlmaier Farms, taking place in their green house; please dress appropriately, it may be chilly. When working with fresh pine, there is always a chance of getting sap on your clothes and you will get sap and some dirt on your hands during the event. We will provide wipes for use.
The event will include a small free gift from the HV Wreath Co. and light refreshments.
